The process begins by heating a mixture of metals like Copper, Zinc, & Lead. The molten metal is poured into a casting die to create a billet. The billet is a cylindrical cross-section of Brass that is used in Extrusion
The hot Billet is kept in the extrusion machine and is pushed by a ram at very high pressure. The Hot metal is passed through a die to get the desired cross-sectional rods like round, square, triangle, hexagon & more.
The brass rods of various cross-sections are sent to the machining floor, where the dimension of the rods will be measured before machining to ensure the quality of rods. The brass rods are then machined through full automatic CNC machines to obtain quality brass products at economical costs.
The Brass when machined is cooled by a coolant to ensure good machinability. The coolant deposits need to be removed by washing brass in an ultrasonic washing machine where the brass products are placed in a soapy bath and ultrasonic waves pass through them to get rid of oil, dust & other contaminants.
The finished product is then sent to Quality Team where the product is tested for its quality using various tools like Measuring Devices, Gauges, Profile Projectors, & more.
The Products are then packed as per standard packaging guidelines or custom packaging as per requirements. The products are packed in cartons and placed on a pallet thereafter.
